BA Stainless Steel
BA finish stainless steel is the cold rolled stainless steel annealing in an inert gas atmosphere to prevent oxidation and scaling. It has a mirror-like surface but is less reflective than an 8K mirror finish because its surface has cloudiness and other imperfections. Bright annealed stainless steel is valued for its combination of aesthetic appeal, durability, and hygienic properties.
This makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of applications in architectural elements, kitchen equipment, and medical devices. The common grades are 430 stainless steel.

BA Finish VS. 8K (Super Mirror) Finish
● BA finish is less polished and glossy compared to the 8K finish.
● Compared with BA finish, 8K finish provides a non-directional surface that is clear and free of any line marks.
● BA finish can only be applied to 304 and 430 stainless steel, but the Super Mirror finish can be applied to SS201, SS304, SS316, SS430, etc. In addition, the thickness range of the 8K finish is larger.
● BA finish involves annealing, whereas 8K finish requires extensive polishing and buffing for a higher level of refinement.
● 8K (Super Mirror) finish can be accomplished with BA finishes.
